Sleight-of-Hand with Christopher McBride
Sunday, September 7th 3pm
Christopher has been performing and studying classic sleight-of-hand card magic for over 40 years. He is a lifelong teacher and worthwhile storyteller - with a deck of cards. Sharing excitement and surprise without tangible explanation is his goal with every performance. As an audience member, you will experience illusions possible with ordinary playing cards, leaving you to never see magic in quite the same way. Absolute card control and sleight-of-hand will reinforce the concepts of possibility and the imagination.
Christopher is a full-time professional card magician, maple sugarmaker, and photographer/framer who lives in Westford, Vermont. He performs regularly in northern Vermont but also travels around the country giving full evening presentations of sleight-of-hand magic. Like some of the greatest magicians of the past, he uses traditional sleight-of-hand, misdirection, and balderdash, to go beyond the senses of the moment and forge extended memories. To see all what Christopher brings to his work, visit his website at: www.mcbridevt.com
The intimate space at Flower Power will allow all fine details of the magic to be easily seen. Seating is limited to 20 for each night. Hors d'oeuvres & refreshments will be made available for sale. $40 per person. Ages 14+
